Pamela Evans of Breckinridge, CO, purchaser of Special Joe Bars
The following link is a video of my run yesterday that won the barrel race. It was also the fastest time run over the weekend. I am very excited that Joe and I are starting to click.:)
All the best,
Pamela
And another:
Thanks for everything. I love Joe so much and ALLLLL the people here in Colorado do TOO! they love to watch the "little gray horse" work. They say he looks so fun and easy to ride...if they only knew..LOL There have been people asking if he's for sale and of course the answer is NO!
Take care and I look forward to talking to you and seeing you soon!
All the best,
Absolutely, you can put that on your site, just delete the me almost falling off on first...LOL I totally blew third and was amazed I still clocked. Vicki ran Famous that she ran at the NFR three years ago and had a beautiful run and ran the 15.402, so I was very happy. I would have had a smoking time Sat. too and I tipped third cause I let him drift out but not as bad on Sun when I clocked. Don't know why I was doing that if it was the bucking chutes or what.
I think Joe is running now like he use to run for you before... YEAH!!!!
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for your encouragement after my run last Wednesday. More than once you have made me feel like all my efforts with my mare are worth it. And honestly, I had you in the back of my head on Sunday morning telling me she's a nice horse and she has the talent, I just have to get with her. And by George, I got with her and stuck with her, and PUSHED her. I'm hoping you saw my post, but we ran in the 2D yesterday at Lincoln's Bash. I was so excited. I really have respect for you and your opinions and it's someone like who believes in someone like me, who helps us get to the top.
Thanks again.

Miranda Leija, TX, purchaser of Oh So Real
I bought this horse from you as a 3D horse (at a 4d price) and wanted to let you know that after competing on him for the 1st time tonight we ran in the 1D (top ten) with Shelly Selmon leading out of about 60 entries. Thank you so much for being so honest and selling me such a great horse.

Hey Diane, got to ride Wheeler 3 days in a row. He is so sweet and so much fun. Took him out to the ranch yesterday, I think it was quite different for him. He did just fine though. Thanks so much. I'm ready for the next clinic. I had so much fun and felt so good about myself after. Take care and again thanks for such an awesome horse. I'm having a t-shirt made to say "I buy all my horses from Diane Guinn!"

Anna Welling the purchaser of Go For Perks
Hi Diane!
Just thought I would let you know how Perks is doing.
He competed in his first rodeo performance last week. We were invited to compete in a “local barrel” race competition which was held during the performances at our PRCA rodeo. 15 of us were invited and we ran immediately after the Pro Girls. ( Bremerton was a Tour Stop this year so we had some great barrel racers there.)
Perks absolutely creamed the competition. We won our round by over a ½ second! I couldn’t have been happier with him. Some of the other girls had trouble with the ground, but Perks stood right up during his turns and had no problems at all.
Brittany Pozzi, Lindsey Sears, and Sherry Cervi all clocked in the 17.4’s right before we ran and Perks clocked a 17.91 with the barrels pushed 10 feet beyond the pattern the Pro Girls ran on. (They pick up the barrels and move them 10 feet towards the arena fence to get us out of the tracks from the Pro Girls.) I was so happy I could hardly stand it. LOL!
Hope all is well with you!

Bonnie Blink from Wisconsin, purchaser of Badgers Two Tuff
Hi Diane,
Well I worked Badger in the Jim Warner hack and he works VERY well in it. He was very sassy today and tonight at the barrel race. I saw a side of him that I haven't seen yet. I had just an absolute great time with him. This was just the tip of the iceberg I think. He ran an awesome set of barrels. He sat and turned hard on every barrel. Unfortunately I kicked the 3rd barrel over with my foot, on our way out....darn it. I am more excited about him than ever before and can't wait to run him again. I can't believe how comfortable I am on him in such a short time. OOOHHH ! It puts a big smile on my face just thinking about it. I am so happy, even though I tipped. {totally pilot error} I can tell that I am going to have lots of fun with him. I am SO excited. I will go back there in 3 weeks to run him and in the mean time I will just keep doing what I am doing....sure seems to be working. I can't say enough good things about him.

Donette Nelson of New Mexico. Purchaser of Hero's Cash Bar Girl
Diane, Hi there, I just wanted to send you a little update on how well Karly is doing with Belle. She has had two top ten finishes in the high school and this past weekend we took her to an open barrel race in El Paso and she was first in the 1D!!! She competed against three of the toughest ladies from our area each of them rode four horses. We are so greatful to you for spending so much time with us. It was really a blessing that Doug insisted on going back for her, so she is not for me, yet, My kid hasn't smiled that big after a race in quite sometime. So thank you so much!!!
Donnette.

Michelle Shiner of St. George, Utah, purchaser of Bullys Ledgend
Hello Diane, this is Michelle Shiner, I bought Bully from you, I thought you would be wondering how he is doing, We really like him, Did you know that he runs poles too? Yesterday we went to the mountain to move cows, His first time, and by the end of the day he was thinking this was fun, he acts like he was worked on cows. He really likes to run, thanks again for such a nice horse.
COOPER & Kara Update
The boys did great!! Gem (old horse) ran a 20.747 and took 3rd in 3 D open and 3rd in 3D youth and Cooper (young horse) ran 22.272 in youth and 22.144 in open -he got 2nd in 4D barrels- not bad for his 1st jack pot. The chiropractor came out yesterday and said Cooper was out in his back left hip (Thanks for pointing that out) and Gem was out in his neck and pole which is why he did not run better in barrels and he knocked down a few poles. Kara still won $ 61.00 which just about paid for the hackamore we bought. She ran exhibitions in the bit she had, but switched to the hackamore for her runs and he did great. Thanks again for all the help. We would not be ready if it was not for the clinic. Wish us luck on Sunday at WBRP I think Kara is #106 -so try and watch on line if you can!!! Sherry
Doc Scoots Good
Hi, It's Hope McCain. I am 12 1/2 years old now. I bought Doc Scoots Good from you but I changed his name to Thunderbolt. I just wanted to let you know how we are doing in barrels. I just finished my second season with him in the Illinois Junior rodeo Assoc. My goal this year is to be in the top ten. I placed 7th a couple of times and earned some points. We're getting 15.3 lately. I also wanted to give you a picture of us. I won a belt buckle in 4-H and received a 1st place trophy for barrels. In open barrels I am up 2d's with the adults. I love Thunder a lot.
Hope McCain

Amy Laymon, trainer of Tangos First Honor, owned by Guy Lamarche
Below you will find the results of a race Saturday. Tango put a run on that I have never experienced ever! I have sold some nice horses and some set arena records but this beat them all. Wish it would of been last weekend at the BBR finals. And yes Denise Hrdlicka was on the horse she placed in the 1D on last weekend. She and Carol both had phenominal runs that looked tough to beat but Tango was on fire and he had no mistakes what so ever and his forward motion was unbelievable. I tell you Diane it could of beat Hotshot and Juniors Genuine Doc on there best day. No way to prove it but I think it could of. Now I know he can do it hopefully he will become consistant and more solid all year for the fall futurities. I will try and run him at some rodeos the ground was deep and shifty and he didn't miss a beat and peeled the paint on all three barrels. Thought a couple would fall they move pretty good.
